Tony and Amey Siebers, Mesa residents and members of the All Saints parish, said migration policies and the leaders enacting them must “leave a better America to our progeny.”

“As an American Catholic Christian, husband, father, military veteran, and business owner, I need to know that the people enacting migration policies in our country have the experience and ability to help me leave a better America to our progeny,” Tony Siebers said. “This young woman who was lost was that progeny, making the enabling policies particularly difficult to stomach.”

CatholicVote has created a new video, highlighting the increase in crime that has ensued in our country due to the border crisis under Vice President Kamala Harris’ watch.

On August 12, 2023, an 11-year-old girl was raped, beaten, and murdered by an 18-year-old illegal immigrant, Juan Garcia-Rodriguez. Her body was found by her father in a trash bag, inside of a hamper, under her bed.

Garcia-Rodriguez entered the country illegally under President Joe Biden’s administration while Vice President Kamala Harris was in charge of the border.

ABC 13 News reported that Garcia-Rodriguez, who is a Guatemalan national, surrendered to U.S. Customs and Border Patrol in El Paso in January of 2024. Border Patrol agents later released him to his immigration sponsors in Louisiana.

Since March of 2021, people have been referring to Harris as the “border czar” after President Biden appointed her to oversee the Biden-Harris Administration’s efforts at the southern border.

“I’ve asked her, the VP, today, because she’s the most qualified person to do it, to lead our efforts with Mexico and the northern triangle … in stemming the migration to our southern border,” stated Biden, who sat beside Kamala Harris, both wearing masks.

The crisis happening at the southern border has led to an increase in crime, including drug and sex trafficking.

Under Harris’ watch, migrant crossings have reached an all time high; with 250,000 migrants crossing the southern border in December of 2023. The previous record was 224,000 in May of 2022, also under the Biden-Harris Administration.
