Rep. Andy Biggs, who has represented Arizona’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, posted a series of comments on his official Twitter account between December 4 and December 5, 2025. The tweets addressed issues ranging from congressional procedures to public well-wishes and accusations of dishonesty.

On December 4, Rep. Biggs commented on recent congressional events, stating: “Wrong and inappropriate on so many levels. Rep. Grijalva was sworn in as soon as your party’s government shutdown—which was completely avoidable—ended.” This statement referred to the timing of Rep. Grijalva’s swearing-in following a government shutdown attributed by Biggs to the opposing party.

In another post dated December 5, Biggs expressed support for an individual named Andrew: “Patriots across the nation are praying for Andrew’s total and complete healing!” The tweet did not provide further details about Andrew or his condition.

Shortly after, also on December 5, Biggs posted a brief message accusing someone of dishonesty before Congress: “Lying to Congress.”

Rep. Andy Biggs has served in Congress since succeeding Richard Miranda in 2017 and previously held office in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958, he currently resides in Gilbert and holds degrees from Brigham Young University (BA) and the University of Arizona (JD).
