Rep. Andy Biggs, who represents Arizona’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of tweets addressing current political topics and legislative priorities.

On January 8, 2026, Biggs posted a tweet containing only an American flag emoji and a link: ” https://t.co/exVnlk441P”.

Later that day, he commented on recent media coverage regarding government-funded daycares. In his tweet dated January 8, 2026, he wrote: “Almost like fraudulent government-funded daycares haven’t dominated the news for the last week https://t.co/A1L1w1rjNR”.

On January 9, 2026, Biggs declared his support for ongoing Republican initiatives in Congress and highlighted his own legislative efforts. He stated: “I’m a YES. House Republicans are working alongside President Trump to lower costs and restore the American Dream. Congress must also pass my HOUSE Act to protect Americans from senseless Green New Scam mandates. https://t.co/Tt2p818uT7 https://t.co/hagurcY334”.

Biggs has served as the U.S. Representative for Arizona’s 5th District since 2017 after succeeding Richard Miranda. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, Biggs earned his BA from Brigham Young University in 1982 and later received a JD from the University of Arizona in 1984.
