Rep. Andy Biggs, who represents Arizona’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on September 16 and 17, 2025, addressing issues related to political discourse and recent events involving members of Congress.

On September 16, Biggs wrote, “The Left has dehumanized conservatives because of our political views. In doing so, they have made us all potential victims of atrocious acts.” He did not specify particular incidents but expressed concern about the treatment of conservatives in current political debates.

The following day, on September 17, Biggs criticized Rep. Jerry Nadler during a Judiciary Committee session. He tweeted, “DISGRACEFUL: Jerry Nadler, one of the highest ranking Democrats on the Judiciary Committee, just referred to Charlie Kirk as Charlie ‘King.’ Twice. Who is @RepJerryNadler to say he knows what Charlie would have wanted when he can’t even remember his name?” The tweet highlights an error by Nadler regarding conservative commentator Charlie Kirk’s name.

Later that day, Biggs posted another brief statement: “Good. Actions have consequences.” The context for this remark was not provided in the tweet.

Andy Biggs has served as a member of Congress representing Arizona’s 5th District since 2017 after succeeding Richard Miranda. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert at age 64, Biggs graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in 1982 and earned his JD from the University of Arizona two years later.
