Rep. Andy Biggs, who represents Arizona’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on September 15, 2025, addressing recent political and educational issues.

In a tweet at 13:49 UTC, Biggs questioned the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s assassination and compared conservative responses to those from the political left. He wrote, “How many cities have burned following Charlie Kirk’s assassination, Senator? How many people have died in violent riots?

The answer to both is ZERO. Instead, conservatives have held prayer vigils to mourn.

For reference, this is what it looks like when the Left “protests:” https://t.co/eta8pOPg7fhttps://t.co/M4emtLFXcG” (September 15, 2025).

Later that day at 14:19 UTC, Biggs highlighted Arizona’s position on education policy and promoted his legislative efforts regarding school choice. He stated, “Arizona is a leader in school choice.

Parents know what is best for their children, not the government.

That’s why I introduced the Ending Common Core and Expanding School Choice Act. I will always fight to limit the federal government’s control over our students. https://t.co/2CVnNETMFFhttps://t.co/Ek0mqSGJYZ” (September 15, 2025).

A third tweet was posted by Biggs at 20:06 UTC containing only links: “https://t.co/Lj6865eGjv https://t.co/QCaeMWTMIF” (September 15, 2025).

Biggs has served as a member of Congress since replacing Richard Miranda in 2017 and previously held office in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, he holds degrees from Brigham Young University and the University of Arizona.
