Rep. Andy Biggs, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, shared several posts on December 15, 2025, addressing topics ranging from federal education policy to vaccine mandates and international security concerns.

In a post made at 15:51 UTC, Biggs expressed approval of recent changes in the Department of Education under new leadership, stating, “This is great news! Gone are the days of a weaponized Department of Education under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Thank you @POTUS and @EDSecMcMahon!”

Later that day at 19:37 UTC, he commented on past employment consequences related to COVID-19 vaccine mandates for service members and employees: “Remember when service members were discharged and employees lost their jobs for refusing an untested and unsafe vaccine? Truth will prevail.”

At 21:25 UTC on the same day, Biggs responded to reports of a terrorist attack during a Hanukkah celebration in Australia. He wrote, “Radical Islamists carried out a terrorist attack at a Hanukkah celebration, and the response from Australian leadership was to warn against ‘right-wing extremist groups’ and push stricter gun laws. Radical Islam has no place in a free society.”

Andy Biggs has represented Arizona’s 5th District in Congress since succeeding Richard Miranda in 2017. Prior to his congressional tenure, he served in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958, Biggs holds degrees from Brigham Young University (BA) and the University of Arizona (JD), and currently resides in Gilbert.
