Rep. Andy Biggs, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, posted a series of tweets on January 27 and 28, 2026, addressing topics related to political protests, immigration enforcement, and promises made by the president.

On January 27, Biggs commented on recent demonstrations with the post: “And this is how the Left “protests.” We are not the same.”

Later that day, he expressed gratitude towards the President of the United States with another tweet: “Promises made, promises kept. Thank you, @POTUS!”

The following day, Biggs addressed an incident involving Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), writing: “ICE cared for Liam Ramos when his criminal illegal alien father abandoned him to flee the police. Congressman Crow knows this, but it doesn’t fit the Left’s agenda. Democrats perpetuate lies when their narrative falls apart.”

Biggs has represented Arizona’s 5th District in Congress since succeeding Richard Miranda in 2017. Prior to his time in Congress, he served in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, Biggs earned a BA from Brigham Young University in 1982 and a JD from the University of Arizona in 1984.
