Rep. Andy Biggs, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, has recently posted several statements on his official Twitter account addressing political accountability and criticizing fellow lawmakers.
On November 4, 2025, Biggs wrote, “I’m a cosponsor. Boasberg must be brought to account for his actions.” On the same day, he directed criticism at two Arizona senators in another post: “Senators @SenMarkKelly and @SenRubenGallego need to stop playing political games, defy their King Schumer, and put Arizonans first.”
The following day, on November 5, 2025, Biggs commented on an election outcome in New York City by stating: “Congratulations NYC. You just elected an official who despises America and everything our Republic stands for. You’ve made your bed.”
Biggs has served as the representative for Arizona’s 5th District since succeeding Richard Miranda in 2017. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, Biggs holds degrees from Brigham Young University (BA) and the University of Arizona (JD).
