Rep. Andy Biggs, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, posted a series of statements on social media reflecting on recent events and expressing criticism toward political opponents.

On September 11, 2025, Biggs wrote: “Conservatives across the country are in mourning, grieving the tragic loss of one of our best. But business owners aren’t boarding up storefronts from fear of looting and rioting. That’s the difference between the Right and the Left. We are not the same.”

The following day, on September 12, he posted: “Enough is enough.”

Later that day, Biggs continued his commentary with another post: “Fascists silence those they disagree with. That’s exactly what Charlie’s cowardly assassin did. The Left always accuses the Right of what they themselves are guilty of.”

Biggs has served in Congress since 2017 after replacing Richard Miranda and previously held office in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, Biggs holds degrees from Brigham Young University and the University of Arizona.
