Rep. Andy Biggs, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, posted a series of tweets on January 13, 2026, addressing a range of topics from media appearances to social issues and child protection.
In his first tweet of the day, Biggs announced an upcoming appearance with journalist James O’Keefe: “I’ll be joining @JamesOKeefeIII to talk about his latest investigation shortly. Tune in https://t.co/NvQeojW6WD” (January 13, 2026).
Later that afternoon, he shared his views on gender identity: “A biological man can never be a woman, no matter how much makeup he puts on. My friend @Rep_Clyde stands for truth. https://t.co/zqoHbqs5Og” (January 13, 2026).
Biggs also highlighted efforts against child exploitation in his capacity as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance: “In my role as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance, I’ve made combating child exploitation a top priority. Biggs has served in Congress since replacing Richard Miranda in 2017 and previously held office in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, Biggs holds degrees from Brigham Young University and the University of Arizona.
