U.S. Congressman Andy Biggs, who represents Arizona’s 5th district, posted several updates on his social media accounts between March 29 and March 30, 2026. His posts highlighted developments in Arizona’s defense industry, marked a religious observance, and shared a personal meeting with constituents.
On March 29, Biggs commented on recent progress involving Honeywell Aerospace: “Great news for Honeywell Aerospace, the State of Arizona, and the U.S. national defense! The Grand Canyon State continues to expand its production of America’s defense at a critical time in our nation’s and world’s history.”
Later that day, he acknowledged Palm Sunday: “I hope you have had a blessed Palm Sunday to kick off this Holy Week.”
On March 30, Biggs described a visit from two acquaintances: “I enjoyed seeing two of my dear friends, Jim and Sue Chilton, last week in my Washington, D.C. office. These two are courageous and patriotic American ranchers, who are doing more than their fair share to leave our country better than they found it. We appreciate their insights.”
Andy Biggs has served as a member of Congress since 2017 after succeeding Richard Miranda. He previously served in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, Biggs earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in 1982 and received his law degree from the University of Arizona in 1984.
