Rep. Andy Biggs, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, has reiterated his stance on healthcare reform through a series of posts on social media in early December 2025.

On December 6, Biggs shared an article from Breitbart News with the message: “More from @BreitbartNews: https://t.co/stU1zwWBNx”.

The following day, he emphasized Republican efforts toward healthcare policy changes by stating: “ICYMI: I’m leading the push for comprehensive healthcare reform. Republicans have solutions, and it’s time to implement them. Thanks to @freedomcaucus Chairman @RepAndyHarrisMD, @RepEricBurlison, @RepClayHiggins, and @RepEliCrane for joining the effort. Let’s get it done. https://t.co/XZY3wpexwi” (December 7).

On December 8, Biggs addressed the issue of taxpayer subsidies in healthcare: “Truly affordable healthcare does not need to be subsidized by taxpayers. Congress must allow the subsidies to expire while we work diligently to enact reform that puts Americans—not insurance companies—first.”

Biggs has represented Arizona’s 5th District in Congress since replacing Richard Miranda in 2017 and previously served in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, Biggs holds degrees from Brigham Young University and the University of Arizona.
