U.S. Representative Andy Biggs, who serves Arizona’s 5th district, posted a series of tweets on January 20, 2026, addressing topics ranging from condolences for a loss to commentary on immigration and the rule of law.
In his first tweet at 18:23 UTC, Biggs expressed sympathy following the passing of Terri: “Such terrible news. Cindy and I extend our sincere condolences to Steve, their children, grandchildren, and all who loved Terri. May she rest in peace.”
Later that day at 19:15 UTC, Biggs commented on remarks made by former President Trump regarding crime and immigration in Minnesota: “President Trump just showcased the kinds of monsters that Democrats are fighting to keep in our country. Countless murderers, rapists, fraudsters, thieves, etc. And that’s just in Minnesota. Like @POTUS said: ‘All @ICEgov wants to do is get them out of our country.'”
At 19:52 UTC on the same day, Biggs responded briefly to an unspecified event with a statement about accountability: “Good. No one is above the law.”
Andy Biggs has represented Arizona’s 5th congressional district since 2017 after succeeding Richard Miranda. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, Biggs holds a BA from Brigham Young University (1982) and a JD from the University of Arizona (1984).
