Rep. Andy Biggs, who represents Arizona’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on his official social media account between October 14 and October 15, 2025, addressing issues ranging from national defense to religious law.

On October 14, Biggs wrote, “President Trump and Secretary Hegseth made sure our brave troops are taken care of. While Chuck Schumer and the Democrats play politics, President Trump is fighting for the American people. https://t.co/W9xswl5jwK”. Later that day, he posted, “Sharia Law is antithetical to the freedoms on which our great republic was founded. We must purge it from our society or risk collapse.”.

On October 15, Biggs shared a brief message, ” https://t.co/vQWqZk3IAl”.

Biggs, 64, was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1958 and currently resides in Gilbert. He has served in the U.S. Congress since 2017 after replacing Richard Miranda, following previous service in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Biggs holds a Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona.
