Rep. Andy Biggs, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, has recently highlighted on social media the actions of President Donald Trump and his administration regarding privacy protections and government accountability.
On August 20, 2025, Biggs posted: “President @realDonaldTrump, @VP Vance, and their Cabinet are taking great strides to protect Americans’ privacy.

The following day, he wrote: “President Trump is working overtime to fulfill the mandate delivered by American voters.
Congress must codify the President’s priorities to ensure that the federal government can never again be weaponized against its people.” (August 21, 2025)

Biggs has served in Congress since replacing Richard Miranda in 2017. Before joining Congress, he was a member of the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, Biggs graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in 1982 and earned his JD from the University of Arizona in 1984.
