U.S. Congressman Andy Biggs, who represents Arizona’s 5th district, shared several posts on social media this week reflecting on recent events and milestones.

On September 18, 2025, Biggs expressed appreciation for House Speaker Mike Johnson’s efforts to honor the late Charlie Kirk, stating: “Thank you @SpeakerJohnson for sponsoring the resolution to honor @charliekirk11’s life. The Speaker is right: This has been an exceedingly difficult week, but Charlie’s legacy will live on.”

The following day, September 19, he recognized the anniversary of a military branch with a message: “Today, the @usairforce celebrates its 78th birthday. We are grateful for the brave men and women who defend our skies. Happy birthday, USAF!”

Later that same day, Biggs called for support for two individuals’ families and acknowledged emergency personnel: “Please join me in praying for Brenna and Damon’s friends and families. God bless our first responders.”

Andy Biggs has served in Congress since 2017 after previously holding office in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. He was born in Tucson in 1958 and currently resides in Gilbert. Biggs holds degrees from Brigham Young University and the University of Arizona.
