Chandler residents are invited to visit the city’s Neighborhood Resources building on Friday, September 26, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in recognition of National Good Neighbor Day. During the event, attendees will receive a complimentary treat from Andy’s Custard and a coloring sheet featuring tips on being a good neighbor, along with information about resources available through the department.
The Neighborhood Resources building is located at 235 S. Arizona St., directly south of Chandler City Hall and just east of Arizona Avenue along Chicago Street. Staff from Chandler’s Neighborhood Programs will be present outside the building to greet participants as they drive by for their free items.
“National Good Neighbor Day is a fun reminder of how small acts of kindness can strengthen our community,” said Priscilla Quintana, Chandler’s neighborhood programs manager. “Whether it’s checking in on a neighbor, lending a helping hand, or even sharing a smile, these neighborly connections make our city a more welcoming place for everyone. My team hopes you can stop by to meet us.”
