Chandler, Arizona will host its Code Enforcement Resident Academy this fall, offering a three-week session aimed at educating residents about the city’s code enforcement process. The sessions are scheduled for Wednesdays, October 8, 15, and 22, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Downtown Chandler Library’s Copper Room South.
The academy is free to attend and gives participants a chance to meet with the city’s Code Enforcement team. Residents will learn about property maintenance standards, common code violations, and how the city works to maintain community standards. The program also covers ways for residents to report issues and participate in preserving their neighborhoods.
“Residents are passionate about keeping Chandler a beautiful place to live, and this academy helps them understand exactly how city codes support that goal,” said Erica Barba, Neighborhood Services Program Manager. “By participating, residents gain practical tools they can use to protect property values, strengthen community pride and prevent blight.”
Those who attend all three sessions will be entered into a prize drawing.
Registration details are available on the Chandler Code website. For additional information, Erica Barba of the Neighborhood Resources Department can be contacted at 480-782-4328.
