Applications are now open for Chandler’s CIVIC program, an initiative designed to give residents a closer look at how the city operates. The 13-session program, which is free of charge, will begin in January 2026 and aims to foster greater engagement between citizens and their local government.

Mayor Kevin Hartke and the Chandler City Council announced the opening of applications for the upcoming session. “This free program will again launch in January 2026 as part of the city’s ongoing efforts to help residents connect with their government,” they stated.

The CIVIC program includes opportunities for participants to meet with leaders from the City of Chandler, tour key municipal facilities, and take part in interactive activities. The sessions are scheduled every other Wednesday from 4:30-7 p.m., running from January through June 2026 at various locations across Chandler.

Residents interested in joining can find eligibility details, a complete schedule, and application instructions on the city’s website at chandleraz.gov/CIVIC. Applications will be accepted until Sunday, December 7.
