Chandler opens DIY sandbag station in preparation for weekend rain

The City of Chandler has set up a do-it-yourself sandbag station for residents ahead of expected rainfall this weekend. The station is located near the city’s Streets Division at 975 E. Armstrong Way, with sand, bags, and shovels available along the north side of Armstrong Way and west of McQueen Road.

Residents who need to report street flooding or maintenance issues can contact Chandler’s Streets Division during regular work hours at 480-782-3500. For assistance during nights and weekends, they are advised to call or text the Chandler Police non-emergency line at 480-782-4130.
