The City of Chandler and the BAM Foundation will host the Road to Riches Santa at City Hall Car Show & Holiday Market on Saturday, December 13. The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the City Hall Parking Garage located at 240 S. Washington St., in downtown Chandler.

The event is free for attendees and will feature show cars, local vendors, food trucks, a live DJ, arts and crafts for children, and opportunities for photos with Santa. Both printed and digital photos with Santa will be available for purchase.

Individuals interested in displaying their vehicles can register online for a fee of $25 per car plus an online processing fee. Local vendors who wish to participate are encouraged to contact the BAM Foundation. Community nonprofits that want to have an informational booth during the event may also reach out to the BAM Foundation.

Proceeds from the event will support the Chandler Public Housing Authority’s Road to Riches program. According to organizers, “Last year, the city’s Housing and Redevelopment Division partnered with the BAM Foundation and Money Vehicle to launch free financial literacy workshops to City of Chandler’s public housing youth residents and participants enrolled in Chandler’s Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) program.” They added that “the program continues to benefit Chandler low-income families working to overcome financial challenges, build sustainable wealth and reduce and/or eliminate the need for public assistance.”
