In the week ending Jan. 3, three gas stations in Maricopa County sold E85 gas at the lowest reported price of $3.19 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

Reported prices for E85 gas in Maricopa County averaged $3.27 per gallon.

Among 895 gas stations in cities within Maricopa County, five offered E85 gas.

The average reported price for a gallon of E85 gas in Arizona was $3.02, down from the previous week.

U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration expects global oil stockpiles to keep growing into 2026, a trend that could weigh on crude prices in the near term.
