FIU Golden Panthers pitcher and former Gilbert High School player Cooper Foster played in an NCAA Division I baseball contest against the Florida Gators on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 6:30 p.m. The Golden Panthers fell 17-11 in the outing.

Condron Family Ballpark hosted the matchup, marking the first meeting between the two teams this season.

During his appearance, Foster gave up five earned runs in 0.2 innings, walking two batters.

FIU is set to face the Gators again on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 6 p.m. at Condron Family Ballpark.
