The East Valley Chambers of Commerce Alliance (EVCCA) has released its 2026 Legislative Priorities, a document detailing key policy positions affecting businesses in the East Valley. EVCCA represents over 5,000 member businesses and works to present a unified stance for employers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders in the region.

According to EVCCA, these legislative priorities were developed through extensive collaboration among local chambers to ensure that business perspectives are communicated at both state and federal levels. The agenda covers several issues important to Arizona’s economy, including economic development and job creation, education and workforce development from primary through post-secondary levels, employer policies and tort reform, as well as energy, environment, land management, government processes, taxes, transportation, healthcare, and immigration.

The organization states that the priorities “advocate for balanced, forward-looking policies that support innovation, fiscal responsibility, infrastructure investment, workforce readiness, and a competitive business climate.”

In December 2025, the priorities were formally presented to state legislators during a legislative breakfast hosted by EVCCA. The event allowed lawmakers to hear directly from business leaders about policies significant to employers and their communities. According to the alliance: “This direct engagement reinforces EVCCA’s commitment to constructive dialogue, collaboration, and advocacy on behalf of the region’s business community.”

The release of these priorities is intended as preparation for the upcoming legislative session. EVCCA says it will continue working with policymakers and sharing insights from businesses while advocating for measures aimed at strengthening the East Valley’s economy and quality of life.

For questions or those interested in participating in advocacy efforts or public policy initiatives related to these priorities are encouraged to connect with their local chamber.
