The Gilbert Chamber of Commerce is set to host a Lunch & Learn event for the Gilbert Young Professionals (GYP) on October 7, 2025, focusing on the intersection of artificial intelligence and human agency. The session, titled “Don’t Outsource Your Soul: AI, Agency, and Showing Up Human,” will be led by Stuart Preston, owner of Cingularis.

The event aims to address how professionals can use AI effectively without losing essential human qualities such as creativity and critical thinking. According to the announcement, “Artificial Intelligence is everywhere—writing emails, analyzing data, and summarizing meetings. But in a world where AI can do so much, how do we make sure it doesn’t replace what makes us human?”

Stuart Preston will discuss practical approaches to integrating AI in ways that maintain authenticity and support human strengths. The session will include guidance on using a three-step “Human-AI Code” for workplace decisions and offer strategies for enhancing creativity and communication with the help of technology.

Preston’s company, Cingularis, has been advising businesses for over a decade on adopting strategies centered around both technology and human values. As stated in the release: “Stuart Preston leads Cingularis, an 11-year-old company helping purpose-driven businesses adopt smart, human-centered strategies across marketing, VOIP, cybersecurity, and AI. From custom AI tools to secure data systems, Stuart helps teams align technology with human values—so they can grow without the overwhelm.”

The Lunch & Learn is open to those interested in learning more about responsible AI integration or seeking clarity on current trends.
