Last week, the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce concluded its 2025 Adopt-A-Senior Program, which saw all 122 senior wish lists from the Gilbert Senior Center and Page Commons fulfilled. The program aimed to ensure that every participating senior received gifts during the holiday season.

The event ended on December 16 with a Holiday Breakfast at the Gilbert Senior Center. The center provided breakfast and a space for seniors to gather and celebrate. The morning began with remarks from the Chamber, followed by introductions of sponsors who supported the initiative.

Sponsors recognized included Mark and Mickie Newman of Newman Realty powered by Realty One Group; Barbara Sprungl with SRP SanTan Generating Station; All About You Placement and Senior Resources; and Analaura and James DeVary of Senior Helpers of Chandler & Gilbert, sponsor of the Alma Riedel Holiday Donation Drive.

Entertainment was provided by students from Gilbert Arts Academy. Chamber staff and volunteers were present to assist seniors throughout the event.

In addition to fulfilling wish lists, donations collected through the Alma Riedel Holiday Donation Drive were distributed as raffle prizes during breakfast. Volunteers ensured each senior left with a gift.

At the end of the celebration, each attendee received an additional gift card from SanTan Village Mall, presented by sponsors and Chamber staff.
