The Gilbert Chamber of Commerce announced on May 19 that it will host the Gilbert Pitch Contest, an event where entrepreneurs will present their business ideas before a panel of judges and a live audience.
The event aims to foster innovation and support emerging ventures by providing a platform for finalists to share their ideas, receive real-time feedback from experienced judges, and gain exposure to business leaders. According to the announcement, participants can also attend a Pitch Preparation Workshop on June 9 designed to help them refine their presentations.
“The Gilbert Pitch Contest is a showcase of creativity, ambition, and opportunity. Attendees will experience live business pitches delivered in a fast-paced, high-impact format, where finalists present their ideas to a panel of experienced judges and a live audience,” the organization said. “While prizes and recognition are certainly part of the excitement, the value of the Pitch Contest goes far beyond the awards. Finalists receive: Real-time feedback from seasoned judges; Exposure to business leaders and potential supporters; A platform to refine and communicate their vision.” The Chamber added that events like this highlight its commitment “to fostering innovation and supporting emerging ventures. By bringing together entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders, the event creates meaningful connections and encourages collaboration across industries.”
The Chamber is linked with its leadership program established in 1992 for cultivating informed community leaders; it also enhances quality of life through education initiatives via its foundation; fosters business growth through networking programs; serves businesses in Gilbert, Arizona; advocates for pro-business policy measures; and is led by President/CEO Sarah Watts—all according to the official website.
Organizers say attendees at this year’s contest can expect inspiring ideas from local founders as well as networking opportunities within an energetic environment focused on creativity. “On June 25, Gilbert becomes a stage for what’s next. Come cheer on the finalists, connect with the community, and witness the ideas that could shape the future of business,” they said.
