Jim Bisceglie, Assistant Chief with the Gilbert Police Department, has reached out to members of the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce to encourage stronger ties between local law enforcement and the business community. Bisceglie, who has been with the department for four years and previously worked in Illinois, emphasized his commitment to both public safety and community engagement.

In a message to Chamber members, Bisceglie stated that building relationships with businesses is key for crime prevention, economic stability, emergency readiness, and trust within the community. “One of my primary goals in the upcoming months is to strengthen our relationships with the business community. These connections are essential for crime prevention and safety, economic vitality, emergency preparedness, community building, and, ultimately, the foundation for building trust with all of you,” he said.

Bisceglie invited Chamber members to contact him directly at james.bisceglie@gilbertaz.gov regarding questions or ideas on partnership opportunities. He noted his openness to conversations about site safety or collaboration on events aimed at enhancing Gilbert’s sense of security and prosperity.

“I encourage all Chamber members to reach out to me at james.bisceglie@gilbertaz.gov if you have any questions about how we can partner together to continue making Gilbert a wonderful and prosperous community. Whether it’s a simple conversation about site safety or an opportunity to collaborate on a community event, I am here to connect and work together,” Bisceglie added.
