Rep. Greg Stanton, a U.S. Congressman from Arizona who secured re-election in both 2022 and 2024 against Kelly Cooper, recently addressed several issues through his official Twitter account.

On December 2, 2025, Stanton announced an event aimed at helping constituents understand health insurance options under the Affordable Care Act. He wrote, ” My office’s Open Enrollment 101 for Affordable Care Act plans is happening tonight — RSVP now for the link!”

The following day, Stanton commented on a controversial pardon related to drug trafficking. On December 3, 2025, he posted, “You don’t fight drug trafficking by freeing the man who flooded our streets with cocaine. This pardon is an insult to law enforcement and a gift to the cartels.”

Later that same day, Stanton addressed concerns about academic freedom and research funding for universities. He stated on December 3, 2025: “Students shouldn’t pay the price for politics in Washington. I’m proud to stand up for academic freedom and to fight for fair access to research funding so Arizona and U.S. universities can remain the envy of the world.”

Stanton’s recent posts reflect ongoing priorities in his congressional work—healthcare access, public safety regarding drug policy, and support for higher education institutions.

In both the 2022 and 2024 general elections, Stanton defeated Kelly Cooper by notable margins—56% to 43.1% in 2022 and approximately 52.7% to 45.5% in 2024—demonstrating continued electoral support within his district.
