Rep. Greg Stanton, U.S. Congressman from Arizona, used his social media platform on November 10 and 11, 2025, to address ongoing economic challenges facing Arizonans and to call for bipartisan action in Washington.

On November 10, Stanton wrote, “Arizonans are suffering from an affordability crisis, driven by Trump’s tariffs and failed economic policies. Grocery prices are up. Electricity prices are up. Now AZ families and small business owners are set to see their out-of-pocket health insurance premiums go up by”. In a follow-up post the same day, he stated, “I’ve been in Washington working toward a bipartisan, bicameral solution that lowers costs, protects health care and reopens the government. That will remain my north star.”

The following day, Stanton highlighted the impact of the government shutdown on federal workers and air traffic safety: “Our skies are safe because air traffic controllers continue to show up for work without pay. While the cutbacks to flight traffic are a prudent decision, we need Republicans’ help to reopen the government, save health care, and pay our federal workers.”

Stanton has served as a U.S. Representative after winning consecutive elections against Kelly Cooper in both 2022 and 2024; he secured victory with 56% of the vote in 2022 and with 52.7% in 2024.
