Rep. Greg Stanton, U.S. Congressman from Arizona, used his social media platform in late October and early November 2025 to address health care access, breast cancer awareness, and community safety during Halloween.

On October 31, Stanton marked Breast Cancer Awareness Month by stating, “During #BreastCancer Awareness Month, we honor survivors, support those in treatment, & double down on prevention. Regular mammograms are crucial to catching cancer early. I’m fighting to keep health care costs down so people can afford the preventative care they need & deserve.”

Later that evening, he shared a seasonal message: “Happy Halloween! Whether you’re passing out candy or collecting it, I hope everyone has a fun, safe evening trick-or-treating tonight. Keep it spooky out there! “ (October 31).

On November 1, Stanton informed constituents about changes in health insurance enrollment: “Open Enrollment starts today — you can enroll, renew, or change your health care plan for 2026. If your premiums went up, you’re not alone. That’s why Dems have been fighting to bring costs down. Republicans need to help us reopen the gov’t so we can.”

Stanton was re-elected in both 2022 and 2024 general elections against Kelly Cooper, securing victories with 56% of the vote in 2022 and approximately 53% in 2024.
