Rep. Greg Stanton, U.S. Congressman for Arizona, posted a series of tweets on October 7, 2025, addressing issues ranging from health care tax credits and semiconductor industry investments to commemorating the anniversary of the October 7th attacks.
In a tweet on October 7, Stanton emphasized the potential impact of expiring health care tax credits on small business owners. He wrote, “Small business owners like Angie and Vanessa should be able to get health care without going bankrupt. But if Congress lets health care tax credits expire, their premiums will go up by thousands of dollars. I joined patients and providers at @MCMedSociety today — together, we’re”.
Later that day, Stanton highlighted a significant development in Arizona’s technology sector. He stated, “Yesterday @AmkorTechnology officially broke ground on its new advanced semiconductor packaging & test campus here in the Valley — the first of its kind in the U.S. Federal investments like the CHIPS and Science Act are vital to bringing these 3,000 new jobs to Arizona and”.
Stanton also issued a brief statement recognizing the anniversary of the October 7th attacks: “My statement commemorating the anniversary of the October 7th attacks:”.
Stanton has represented Arizona in Congress through multiple election cycles. In 2024, he defeated Kelly Cooper with 52.7% of the vote compared to Cooper’s 45.5%. In the previous cycle in 2022, Stanton won against Cooper with a margin of 56% to 43.1%.
