Rep. Greg Stanton, who represents Arizona’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed a range of issues on his social media account, including Arizona’s semiconductor industry, voting rights, and support for transgender Americans.

On March 31, 2026, Stanton highlighted Arizona’s role in the technology sector: “Arizona is the semiconductor capital of the country. I’m now working alongside partners like the @PhxChamber to make sure Arizona’s students, workers, and small businesses can reap the benefits.”

Later that day, he commented on recent developments related to voting regulations in Arizona: “This is brazenly unconstitutional and a waste of taxpayer dollars. More than 75% of Arizona voters vote by mail, and we have one of the most rigorous voter registration processes in the country. It should be immediately challenged in court.”

On April 1, 2026, Stanton marked Transgender Day of Visibility with a message supporting transgender individuals: “On Transgender Day of Visibility, we recognize the dignity, courage, and contributions of transgender Americans in Arizona and across the country. I see you, I stand with you, and I’ll keep working to protect your right to be who you are.”

Stanton has served as a member of Congress since 2019 after replacing Kyrsten Sinema. He was re-elected in both 2022 and 2024 after defeating Kelly Cooper each time. Born in Long Island in 1970 and currently residing in Phoenix at age 53, Stanton holds degrees from Marquette University (BA) and the University of Arizona (JD).
