Rep. Greg Stanton, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, addressed constituents and national issues in a series of posts on October 10, 2025.

In his first message posted at 00:29 UTC, Stanton invited public participation in an event focused on government operations, stating, “About to start my live Tele-Town Hall on the shutdown. Bring your questions — you can call in 833-479-1991 or tune in live on Facebook at https://t.co/CuWpEheg9z.”

Later that day at 18:36 UTC, Stanton commented on academic policy decisions related to federal research funding. He wrote, “MIT made the right choice. Decisions on federal research funding should be based on merit, not political deals with the Trump administration.”

At 19:53 UTC, Stanton highlighted his role as Co-Chair of the Taiwan Caucus and recognized Taiwan’s national observance. He stated, “As Co-Chair of the Taiwan Caucus and a member of @HouseForeign, I’ve watched our partnership with Taiwan grow stronger with time. On Taiwan’s 114th National Day, let’s celebrate their commitment to democracy and reaffirm our bipartisan support for the U.S.–Taiwan relationship.”

Stanton represents Arizona’s 4th congressional district and has demonstrated electoral strength in recent years. In both the 2022 and 2024 general elections he defeated Kelly Cooper—winning by margins of approximately 13 percentage points in 2022 and about seven points in 2024.
