Rep. Greg Stanton, U.S. Congressman from Arizona, shared several posts on October 17, 2025, addressing voting rights and healthcare leadership in his district.

In a post made at 5:48 p.m. UTC, Stanton highlighted the significance of an ongoing legal case related to voting rights. He stated, “The stakes of this case go beyond one district. The Voting Rights Act has been critical to ensuring everyone has a voice at the ballot box. We must not accept that gerrymandering can be used to silence our diverse communities.”

Later that day, at 6:32 p.m. UTC, Stanton commented on changes in local healthcare leadership: “With families facing uncertainty about coverage and costs, strong hospital leadership matters. I look forward to working with Dignity Health East Valley’s new president Dr. Mario Garner to ensure we can keep health care accessible to our communities.”

An earlier post was also made by Stanton at 12:54 a.m. UTC without accompanying text but included a link: https://t.co/nFfSSTidyt.

Stanton’s comments come after his successful re-election campaigns in both 2022 and 2024 against Kelly Cooper. In the most recent contest, he secured victory with 52.7% of the vote compared to Cooper’s 45.5%. Two years prior, he won with a margin of 56% to Cooper’s 43.1%.
