Rep. Greg Stanton, U.S. Congressman from Arizona, recently addressed a range of issues on his social media account, including support for FEMA and responses to antisemitic violence and Hanukkah observances.

On December 13, 2025, Stanton emphasized the importance of strengthening the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), stating: “FEMA helps Americans in their darkest hour. The agency isn’t perfect — and its job is only getting harder — but the solution is to build @FEMA up, not tear it down. Congress needs to pass our bipartisan FEMA Act to give communities the disaster response system they deserve.”

The following day, December 14, 2025, Stanton condemned an attack in Australia: “The antisemitic terrorist attack at a Sydney Hanukkah festival is appalling. Jews should feel safe to practice their faith without any fear of violence. May the memories of those lost be a blessing. And as Jewish communities light the Hanukkah candles tonight, may we all find https://t.co/MVNQ5at5gl”

On December 15, 2025, he shared a message marking Hanukkah: “Hanukkah reminds us that even during these difficult times, light endures. May the lights of the menorah bring hope, peace and joy to all. Chag Sameach! https://t.co/S0yeCA6pyu”

Stanton has represented Arizona in Congress after winning consecutive elections against Kelly Cooper in both 2022 and 2024; he secured victory with approximately 56% of votes in 2022 and about 52.7% in 2024.
