Rep. Greg Stanton, U.S. Representative for Arizona’s 4th congressional district, used his social media platform in early November 2025 to address issues ranging from refugee admissions to tariffs impacting American manufacturing and housing.

On November 2, Stanton commented on the status of refugees awaiting entry into the United States, stating, “We can both secure our borders and follow our refugee laws. Tens of thousands of approved refugees, including many of our Afghan allies, are now stuck in limbo with Trump illegally capping admissions at 7,500 per year. Many of these people are trying to enter the right way — we”.

The following day, he turned attention to construction costs and trade policy. On November 3, Stanton wrote, “From screws and pipes to cabinets and drywall, tariffs are driving up construction prices, adding more than $10,000 in added costs to a typical home. Trump should end his disastrous trade war and work with Democrats to end the housing crisis.”

Later that same day, Stanton addressed the effects of aluminum tariffs on domestic manufacturers: “Punishing U.S. manufacturers and their employees is hardly putting America first. @FALCOext is an incredible Chandler-based aerospace, defense, & automotive manufacturer. At my visit last week, their leadership told me Trump’s 50% tariff on aluminum is crushing the business.”

Stanton has represented Arizona’s 4th district since defeating Kelly Cooper in consecutive general elections—most recently in 2024 with a margin of 52.7% to 45.5%, and previously in 2022 by a vote share of 56% to 43.1%.
