Rep. Greg Stanton, who represents Arizona’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, addressed a range of policy issues in a series of posts on March 30, 2026.
In his first post at 16:39 UTC, Stanton criticized former President Donald Trump’s economic policies: “Trump promised lower prices on day one. Instead, tariffs are hiking the cost of groceries, energy, and other essentials while an unauthorized war in the Middle East is sending gas prices through the roof.”
Later that day at 18:43 UTC, Stanton highlighted technological innovation in Arizona: “The next wave of tech is being built right here in Arizona. I met with Tempe’s Lawrence Semiconductors to discuss the CHIPS and Science Act, the impact it’s having in the East Valley, and how they are continuing to innovate and push quantum technology forward.”
At 21:09 UTC on March 30, Stanton focused on water security initiatives for Arizona: “When Tempe’s Kyrene facility comes back online next year, it will recycle 4.5 million gallons of water daily — easing our reliance on the Colorado River. I’m proud to have secured $10 million to make it happen. Arizona’s water security is too important to leave to chance.”
Stanton has served as a member of Congress since 2019 after replacing Kyrsten Sinema. He was born in Long Island, New York in 1970 and currently resides in Phoenix. Stanton holds degrees from Marquette University (BA) and the University of Arizona (JD). In recent elections, he defeated Kelly Cooper both in 2022 and again in 2024.
