Rep. Greg Stanton, a U.S. Congressman who secured re-election in 2024 by defeating Kelly Cooper with 52.7% of the vote, recently shared messages on social media highlighting community initiatives and cultural celebrations.
On December 12, 2025, Stanton emphasized the importance of local biking infrastructure and youth engagement, posting: “Bicycle infrastructure helps keep our communities happy and healthy.
Thanks to all the kids who’ve written me about biking and tomorrow’s scavenger hunt in Clark Park with the McClintock HS Bike Club and @BikeTempe.
I love seeing our kids push for safe streets & smart policies! https://t.co/j7XInIJAFU“
Later that day, Stanton marked the Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe, an important observance for many in his constituency. In Spanish, he wrote: “Hoy celebramos el dÃa de la Virgen de Guadalupe — un dÃa de fe, familia y unidad para tantas familias en nuestra comunidad. Que tengan un dÃa lleno de bendiciones. https://t.co/5YKy55A2od” This was followed by an English-language post: “Today we honor the Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe — a celebration of faith, family, and unity for so many in our community. I wish everyone a blessed holiday.”
Stanton has represented his district since winning election in 2022 against Kelly Cooper with 56% of the vote and again in 2024 with 52.7%. These victories reflect ongoing support within his district as he continues to address both policy issues like bicycle safety and cultural events significant to his constituents.
