Rep. Greg Stanton, U.S. Congressman for Arizona’s 4th district, highlighted local community events and the significance of participating in local elections through a series of posts on November 4, 2025.
In a post published at 00:27 UTC, Stanton shared his support for small businesses in Chandler, stating, “Proud to help open the new 81 Asian Bistro in Chandler, where owner David Chiang is serving up authentic & delicious Taiwanese flavors. For those in the know, the East Valley is a destination for Asian food in AZ — locally-owned, family-run businesses are at the heart of that.”
Later that day at 17:38 UTC, Stanton encouraged civic engagement on Election Day with a reminder about the impact of local races: “From school funding to city government, local elections make a big difference. This #ElectionDay, local elections and propositions are on the ballot — show up tonight, be heard, and encourage a neighbor to do the same.”
At 17:42 UTC on November 4th, he detailed some of the key items voters would see on their ballots: “Tonight’s elections in AZ-04 include:
— Arizona statewide Prop 409
— Chandler charter amendments & public safety bond
— Mesa Councilmember Election
— Chandler Unified School District Bond
— Tempe Elementary Bond
— Kyrene Elementary Bond”
Stanton has represented Arizona’s 4th congressional district since defeating Kelly Cooper in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections. In 2024 he won with approximately 52.7% of the vote compared to Cooper’s 45.5%, while in 2022 he secured victory with about 56% over Cooper’s 43.1%.
