Rep. Greg Stanton, a U.S. Congressman from Arizona, recently addressed concerns about rising health care premiums and U.S. foreign policy on Taiwan in a series of posts on his official social media account.

On January 8, Stanton highlighted the impact of increased health care costs for Arizonans: “The last thing Arizonans need right now are higher prices. But as of January 1st, more than 400,000 Arizonans have watched their monthly health care premiums go through the roof.

That’s why I joined every House Democrat, and a few pragmatic Republicans, to pass a 3-year”. In this statement, Stanton underscored bipartisan efforts in the House to address what he described as a crisis in health care affordability.

In another post from the same day, Stanton called on political leaders to take action: “Now it’s time for Donald Trump and Senate Republicans to decide whether they’ll work across the aisle to address the health care affordability crisis — or if they’ll turn their backs on millions of Americans struggling to stay covered.”

On January 9, Stanton shifted focus to international affairs by criticizing former President Donald Trump’s approach toward Taiwan: “Trump’s cavalier attitude towards the future of Taiwan is dangerous and upends decades of American policy.

There’s no ‘strategic ambiguity’ about Trump’s naive words. He is rolling out the red carpet for Xi in Taiwan.

This would rock the world economy and have an especially”.

Stanton has represented Arizona in Congress since defeating Kelly Cooper in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections; he won with 56% of the vote in 2022 and secured re-election with 52.7% against Cooper again in 2024.
