Rep. Greg Stanton, U.S. Representative for Arizona’s 4th congressional district, shared a series of posts on December 15, 2025, highlighting his participation in Hanukkah celebrations with local Jewish communities and expressing concerns about healthcare costs.
In a post made at 03:03 UTC, Stanton wrote: “Wonderful to be with the Jewish community in Ahwatukee to celebrate the beginning of Hannukuh. Thanks to Rabbi Minsky for inviting me to speak and light the first candle of the menorah.”
Later that evening at 03:34 UTC, he posted about another event: “Tonight’s menorah lighting in Downtown Mesa is a reminder of what the holiday season is about: resilience, community, and joy. Thank you to Rabbi Blotner from the Chabad Jewish Center for celebrating the first night of Hanukkah with me and the @CityOfMesa, @MesaDistrict4,”
Addressing national policy issues later that day at 17:53 UTC, Stanton commented on healthcare coverage and legislative action: “Healthcare costs have never been higher. Today is the final day to sign up for ACA coverage that kicks in January 1st, and House Republicans still won’t join us to extend the tax credits that help tens of millions of Americans afford health insurance. What are they waiting for?”
Stanton has represented Arizona’s 4th district since defeating Kelly Cooper in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections. In 2024, he secured victory with 52.7% of the vote compared to Cooper’s 45.5%. Two years earlier, he won by a wider margin with 56% against Cooper’s 43.1%.
