Andre Harris, who previously starred at Hillcrest Prep, played in the Western New Mexico Mustangs’ 88-74 victory against the Midwestern State Mustangs on Saturday, Feb. 28.
The 6′8″ junior forward tallied 29 points, eight assists and four rebounds across 35 minutes on the court.
Several other Lee Network AZ area alumni also saw action for the Mustangs during Saturday’s game, including Carson Kelly, NoNo Brown and Tanner Poeschl.
Kelly, a 5′10″ senior guard out of Chandler High School, added 11 points, six rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes.
Brown, measuring 5′11″ and a freshman guard from Perry High School, chipped in 10 points, eight rebounds and two blocks over 26 minutes.
Poeschl, a 6′8″ junior forward from Skyline High School, finished with six points, eight rebounds and two steals in 21 minutes of play.
