Heritage Academy marked the first month of the school year with a message from Principal Heidi Udall, who reminded students and families about the school’s core expectations, known as the 4 Bs. These guidelines encourage students to be present in their assigned locations, arrive on time, engage in appropriate activities, and adhere to dress code standards.
Udall thanked parents for supporting these efforts by ensuring that students follow rules related to punctuality and appearance. “Thank you for helping your scholars arrive at school on time and ensuring they’re in dress code including, hair cuts, shaving, and no facial piercings,” she said.
The newsletter also highlighted the work of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), led by President Amy Nyman. The PTO continues to staff the snack shack but is seeking additional volunteers for various committees. There are openings for art judges for an upcoming Art Show, a chairman for Constitution Week events, and assistance with Teacher Appreciation initiatives.
Links were provided in the newsletter for those interested in participating or learning more about PTO activities.
“We sure love our Heritage families!” Udall wrote as she closed her message to the community.
