The City of Mesa will host the Reindeer Roll and Stroll, a free self-guided scavenger hunt, on Friday, December 5 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Plaza at Mesa City Center, located at 56 E. Main St.

This event invites families and friends to explore Downtown Mesa’s Merry Main Street by starting at the registration table near the Winter Wonderland ice-skating rink. The activity is part of the MesaMoves Look Twice Challenge, a roadway safety campaign aimed at promoting safe travel for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers.

Participants in the Reindeer Roll and Stroll will receive a scavenger hunt list featuring 11 holiday-themed challenges, including visiting the Winter Wonderland ice rink, finding strolling carolers, and stopping by a road safety booth. Completing at least eight activities qualifies participants for prize drawings.

To enter, groups must take photos completing each task with at least one group member visible in each photo. Finished pamphlets and photos can be submitted to a City of Mesa staff member by 8 p.m. on event day or emailed to mesamoves@mesaaz.gov by December 6.

Registration is free and can be completed through either the Look Twice Challenge page or the Reindeer Roll and Stroll Eventbrite page. Winners will be notified by mid-December.

Qualified participants are eligible for several prizes:
• Grand Prize includes a bicycle valued at $400, two tickets to National Geographic Live: Life on the Move at Mesa Arts Center, a customized street sign, a $100 Downtown Mesa gift card, and a swag bag valued at $50.
• Three Adventure Pack Prizes offer family four-pack admission to the Arizona Museum of Natural History, a $50 Downtown Mesa gift card, and a $50 swag bag.
• Six Community Pack Prizes include one light rail transit day pass, a $25 Downtown Mesa gift card, and a $50 swag bag.
