Mesa City Council to hold public hearing on five-year capital program June 1

The City of Mesa announced on May 18 that a public hearing for its Five-Year Capital Program, covering fiscal years 2026/2027 through 2030/2031, will be held before the City Council in the Mesa City Council Chambers on June 1 at 5:45 PM.

The upcoming hearing provides an opportunity for residents to review and comment on planned investments in city infrastructure and services. All interested residents are invited to attend and share their views with city officials.

According to the announcement, “NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a general summary of the Five-Year Capital Program for the City of Mesa for the fiscal years 2026/2027 to 2030/2031 (‘Capital Program’) required to be published by Section 606 of the Mesa Charter follows in the table below, and Copies of the Capital Program in the form and manner required by Section 605 of the Mesa Charter are available continuously for inspection by the public on the City of Mesa’s website at mesaaz.gov/government/office-of-management-budget/budget-documents, and A public hearing with respect to the Capital Program will be held before the City Council in the Mesa City Council Chambers on June 1, 2026 at 5:45 PM at which meeting all interested residents of the City of Mesa are invited to appear and be heard.
