Mesa High School will administer the PSAT College Board test on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. The exam is scheduled for all sophomores, juniors, and AVID freshmen. Seniors and non-AVID freshmen will not attend in-person classes that day but are expected to participate in asynchronous learning from home and complete class assignments for attendance.
Junior students enrolled in the East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) are required to take the PSAT at Mesa High and must follow the appropriate procedures at EVIT to be excused from their regular schedule on October 15.
Students who are taking the test are advised to review the updated room assignment list provided in a linked resource to confirm their designated testing location. The school notes that there have been changes to the list since it was last shared and urges students to check it carefully. Additionally, students should monitor their Canvas announcements for further information regarding PSAT testing.
The schedule for October 15 includes no A-hour classes. Test setup will begin at 8:15 a.m., followed by English/Reading from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., a break until 10:40 a.m., Math from 10:40 a.m. to 12:10 p.m., and test closeout or classwork until 12:35 p.m. Lunch is scheduled from 12:35 to 1:15 p.m.
“Junior EVIT students are required to test on this day, so they will need to miss EVIT. Those EVIT students need to follow the proper procedures at EVIT to be excused on Wednesday, October 15th.”
“Students who are testing should carefully look over the list in the link below to find the room they will be reporting to for testing on the 15th. We have made a few changes to this list from the last time it was shared, so please look it over.”
“Students who are testing should also check their Canvas announcements for additional PSAT testing information.”
“Seniors and non-AVID Freshmen will not attend in-person school that day, but they will be engaged in asynchronous learning at home. They will have class assignments to complete from home for their daily attendance.”
