Registration has opened for Mesa Parks and Recreation’s spring 2026 programs, according to the City of Mesa. The offerings are designed for all ages and abilities, with activities scheduled throughout the season.

Adult participants can join sports such as pickleball, softball, women’s volleyball, and a program called Recess for Adults that introduces a different sport or game each week. Youth options include flag football, beginner ice skating, soccer, gymnastics, and spring break camps. For teens, activities like pickleball, tennis clinics, dodgeball, badminton, and tai chi are available. Adaptive recreation programs feature Hiking Club, Movie Night, track and field events, Adaptive Bulldog Fitness sessions, Friendship Fiesta gatherings, and Decades Dance events.

A complete list of available programs is provided in the new spring PLAYBOOKLite Magazine. The magazine also highlights special events such as Love Where You Play Month in February and Celebrate Mesa in April.

Registration is open now for residents of Mesa. Non-residents will be able to sign up starting Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 8 a.m.

The City offers four ways to register: online through the Active Net Registration System; by emailing a completed registration form to ParksRecInfo@MesaAZ.gov; by mailing forms to Mesa Parks and Recreation at P.O. Box 1466 Mail Stop 7010 Mesa, AZ 8522; or in person at the office located at 708 W. Baseline Road during business hours (Monday-Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.).

Registration forms are available in both English and Spanish. For additional information or questions about registration processes or specific programs—including eligibility for the MRS Discount that provides qualifying Mesa residents with half off youth and adaptive programs—residents can call (480) 644-PLAY (7529).
