Mesa Public Schools is inviting community members to attend its second quarter Community Budget Meeting on Wednesday, December 3, at Carson Junior High. The event will begin with an optional tour of the school from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by the budget meeting from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The meeting aims to provide information about the district’s capital needs and give attendees a chance to discuss potential solutions for capital funding. According to Mesa Public Schools, “The MPS Community Budget Meeting is an opportunity to learn about the school district’s budget process, how funds are allocated, and how it operates within Arizona’s guidelines for school finance. This is the second in a series of quarterly meetings designed to increase transparency and keep our community informed. Every Community Budget Meeting will cover different topics related to school finance.”

This session is part of ongoing efforts by Mesa Public Schools to involve the public in its financial planning process and ensure transparency regarding how resources are managed. After the meeting, a summary of questions and answers will be made available on the district’s website.

The event is open to all residents of Mesa and will take place at Carson Junior High, located at 525 N Westwood, Mesa, AZ 85201.
