Rep. Andy Biggs, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, used his social media account on September 16, 2025, to address topics ranging from drone security to juvenile justice reform.

In the early evening of September 16, Biggs announced his role in a congressional hearing focused on drone-related threats. He stated: “I’m chairing a @JudiciaryGOP subcommittee hearing on the rising threat of malicious drone use in the U.S. Tune in https://t.co/uXyfAH56vC” (posted at 18:05 UTC).

Later that night, Biggs commented on recent legislative action regarding criminal justice policy in Washington D.C., writing: “178 House Democrats just voted to allow D.C. to continue trying 24-year-olds as juveniles. Accountability is a foreign concept to those on the Left. https://t.co/4cRhV9m4I3” (posted at 21:09 UTC).

He followed up with another post reinforcing his position on criminal sentencing: “When you commit adult crimes, you should do adult time. https://t.co/yDaU4GWHFK” (posted at 22:44 UTC).

Biggs has served as Arizona’s representative in Congress since replacing Richard Miranda in 2017 and previously served in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, Biggs earned a BA from Brigham Young University and a JD from the University of Arizona.
